Canon Photomarathon 2010 -part1

Jakarta,Saturday, October 16th 2010

This is my first time attending the photography competition, the event called canon photomarathon 2010, held in central park mall in someplace around west jakarta, it started at 6.00 Am for registration and ended at 7.pm for the winner announcement.

with my friend astrid miranda who i called "baby" , we arrived there around 6.10 am, and off course there already a lot of people before us who get there earlier.

after doin our registration, we got the "meal ticket" to trade with some meals in the counter. hmm not bad i think, 2 pieces of bread (i got the chocolate and the cheese one, how bout u baby?) and a bottle of mineral water with medium size (500ml).

bla bla bla...

around 7.am

the MC announce that the event will start (off course with an introduction from the event organizer and other respected people, so i guess i will skipped it, i dont really remember it after all)

07.30 am

the jury announce the rules about the competition that already written in the paper, again, i guess i will skipped it, but wait, there's still 1 point i don't get it, about, "the image name in 1st Time Clock" : oh , i c, so we should take the picture from the clock in the park before we get the other image from the hunting,and write it down the name on our ID card, got it..after that we gather in the middle of the park for the photo season.
FYI : this event got a new Indonesian Record for "the most photographer gathered together in one place" yess, i think it deserve for it, the EO reported that the total of the participants = 2113 . lot huh? well , welcome to jakarta then :D

the 1st theme was about : Architectural Photography !
*damn! this is not really suitable for my fixed 50mm manual lens, i said it to my self. but, naaah nevermind, i still got the backup from the kit lens (18-55mm) or my (borrowed )tele (manual) lens (70-210mm), so lets get it on !
